I help founders turn ambitious technology ideas into secure, scalable products without needing to hire a full-time CTO too early.
Alongside my role as a Principal Cloud Transformation Consultant, I work as a Fractional CTO with an early-stage technology business, helping shape its technology strategy and build an AI-powered cloud platform. My work has included architecture, agentic AI, security, governance and helping turn emerging technology ideas into practical, implementable solutions.
I’m at my best when a founder or leadership team needs someone who can bridge the gap between business ambition and technical delivery. That might mean reviewing an existing platform, defining a technology roadmap, helping decide where AI genuinely adds value, improving cloud architecture, strengthening security and governance, or bringing more structure to engineering and delivery.
My background also includes advising and delivering transformation for organisations including Barclays, NatWest, Arm, the AA and Tesco Bank. I’ve worked across AWS, Azure and multi-cloud environments, helping senior stakeholders make decisions around cloud strategy, governance, resilience, operating models and large-scale technology change.
That enterprise experience means I bring a strong understanding of security, resilience and risk, but I’m very conscious that startups need speed, pragmatism and proportionate governance rather than heavyweight process.
My approach is collaborative and practical. I aim to give founders clarity on what matters now, what can wait, and where technology decisions could create unnecessary cost or risk later.
I’m particularly interested in working with startups and scale-ups in AI, fintech, SaaS and other technology-led sectors that need experienced technical leadership, clearer technology direction and a scalable foundation for growth.
