I help small and mid-sized businesses get senior technology leadership—without hiring a full-time CTO.
After 25+ years designing and operating enterprise infrastructure, I’ve seen the same pattern repeat itself: as businesses grow, technology decisions become reactive, expensive, and harder to unwind. Systems “mostly work,” but risk quietly increases, costs creep up, and no one owns the big-picture direction.
Through Arcwise, I work as a Fractional CTO—bringing clarity to technology decisions, helping leaders understand tradeoffs, and making sure investments actually support the business instead of slowing it down.
My work typically involves:
Turning business goals into clear technology direction
Identifying hidden risk, waste, and unnecessary complexity
Providing an independent perspective on vendors and major decisions
Acting as a steady technical voice for leadership teams
I most often work with medical and dental practices, law and accounting firms, financial services organizations, and early-stage or growing companies where technology is mission-critical—but a full-time CTO isn’t yet practical.
