About
I have spent my life keeping critical systems online.
I started coding at ten on an Amstrad CPC6128 and taught myself through the 1990s with books and a slow connection, before Google or Stack Overflow existed. By fourteen I was running Linux, building networks, and writing C and assembly. At eighteen I was running operations for a platform that hosted 500,000 customers across 40 Linux servers, leading a team of seven. It was an intense way to learn what production really demands.
At twenty-one I founded ISVTEC and built its first hosting platform from scratch: 80 Linux servers serving 4,000 customers, everything written in PHP, Perl, shell, and MySQL. In 2009 I refocused the company on managed infrastructure, the business I still run today, bootstrapped, with no investors.
In 2003 I founded ISVTEC, a managed-infrastructure firm I still run today, bootstrapped, with no investors. We keep business-critical web platforms fast, secure, and online for mid-market companies across France, the US, and beyond, including Sketchfab and BrightEdge. ISVTEC is ISO 27001 certified and a partner of AWS and Scaleway, and many clients have stayed with us for more than a decade. I am also an official Debian developer and maintained the DRBD high-availability packages for roughly ten years.
Alongside that, I co-founded a technology-led restaurant group, made the core technology decisions that let it scale, and saw it through to acquisition. Two companies built, two exits.
Today I bring all of that to a small number of clients directly, as a fractional CTO. I step into funded startups and scaleups to fix the infrastructure, scaling, security, and cloud-cost problems that block growth, then hand back a system the team can trust. Most engagements start with a fixed-fee audit, with first findings inside two weeks. Along the way I have cut six-figure cloud bills and pulled fragile platforms back to stability. I work the way I always have: transparent, no lock-in, no jargon, results you can verify.
